We are looking for a Product Manager (aka Product Maker) to help us take our investment app to the next level, building new cool features and expanding our app to new countries, and reach hundreds of thousands of users.

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager that can bridge the gap between the Expansion Team opening new markets and the rest of the teams executing the vision of a tier-one cross-country multicultural organization.

We are looking for a Product Manager with both creative and analytical thinking to focus on Ninety Nine’s Expansion Product Area which is responsible for expanding Ninety Nine. We strive to redefine the future of investment even as we work to provide our users with an intuitive, pleasant, and friction-free daily investment experience. This is an exciting time for us as we grow our product to include a new range of features, products, and redefine how people connect with their favorite investment topics.

What you will be doing

  • Work with the Expansion Team to understand its needs on an ongoing basis. You’ll help the Expansion Team to analyze new market opportunities and lead the execution plan.
  • Set a tangible product strategy for the assigned products and ensure that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop profound market and client understanding, become an internal “representative“ of our clients in new markets.
  • Help define the short and long-term roadmap for Ninety Nine product in new markets.
  • Guide features from conception to launch, focusing on user adoption and growth, data analytics, positioning and promotion of new markets.
  • Prioritize work based on inputs from many stakeholders, while being flexible to iterate/change.
  • Take broad, conceptual ideas & work closely with Product and Engineering to make them a reality.
  • Thrive in an environment of fast feedback loops and an approach of rapid prototyping and iteration.
  • Collaborate with engineering, support, marketing, and business teams, and effectively manage releases of new features.
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process.
  • You will be the person of reference for all company processes (people and tools) related to expansion execution.

Positions requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management with a consistent record of taking new products to market and driving major impact. You thrive in chaos and are comfortable leading a team through ambiguity.
  • Experience delivering highly successful and creative consumer Internet products with your fingerprints all over them – you’re proud of what you’ve accomplished.
  • Ability to think deeply about product design decisions and an understanding of how to create simple user interfaces.
  • Demonstrated capability to form strong partnerships with cross-functional partners, as well as influence executive stakeholders.
  • Data-driven and user-centered approach to product development and growth – you have deep experience with user research and modern product discovery techniques and the ability to integrate findings into your work.
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, use sound judgement to assess risks and then distill complex information into easy-to-understand concepts.
  • Drive to get stuff done and keep shipping, but with a collaborative approach. You understand that we don’t win unless the team wins, and you leave ego out of it.
  • User-focused – you are passionate about always making the user experience positive and unwilling to allow product challenges to impact users negatively.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic & commercial mind-set.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of the needs of customers or clients (internal or external).
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team through influence and working with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish. Other EU languages – a plus.
